Somatics of anger series

  • Mondays: Sept. 21, Sept. 28, Oct. 5 & Oct. 12
  • 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
  • The Center (226 West Pike St., Covington)

"Anger has a bad rap, but it is actually one of the most hopeful and forward thinking of all our emotions." —Soraya Chemaly, Rage Becomes Her

There certainly isn't a shortage of things to feel angry about these days. And our bodies don't want to repress it or distort it any longer. Our bodies are inviting us into our power, into our aliveness, and into a deeper sense of safety for ourselves and the world around us.

In this 4-week program, you'll explore anger through the lens of somatics—through your body, thoughts, patterns, emotion processing, nervous system, and spirit.

  • Discover the power, clarity, and wisdom in your anger.
  • Experience new ways to support your nervous system in accessing greater regulation, safety, and presence.
  • Understand the reality and value of your Fight response and how to use it in helpful and supportive ways.

Attendance for all 4 weeks is encouraged, and we understand the fullness of life—pre-recorded content and materials will be made available if you miss a week. Please reach out to facilitator Meagan Connley if you have any questions about the commitment.
